The scat of turkeys is very similar to that of grouse, but much, much bigger. If you find a large accumulation of such scat beneath a tree, you can be assured you have a roosting site for these large birds. Seeing one or two or more of these quite enormous birds perched in a tree is a definitely a sight worth seeing!
