Black-sided Meadow Katydid (Conocephalus nigropleurum)

K&P trail near Lavant Station. Meadow katydids are intriguing little Orthoptera. They have very long antennae and are often quite colourful, as this one is with her orange face, yellow and black "forehead", green body, dark sides.

She is most unusual and I do think I see a smile for the camera look on her face.
