Tourists leave their shoes outside, enter the temple by the left rear door,
and are shepherded round the outside aisle anticlockwise, then to the
upstairs galleries. Tourists are not meant to intrude into the central
part of the temple or to lean over the rail in the gallery. The Caodaists
don't seem to mind photographs being taken, but I hope they forgive me
for my holding a camera out over the rail; at least I didn't use flash.
