Confucian Confusion

Temple of Literature, Hanoi

I didn't listen when this was explained, but Max (of Kangaroo Cafe fame) has
enlightened me, and then corrected his enlightenment on the advice of Miss Sang,
who identified the revered gentleman as "Khong Tu, 551 BCE – 479 BCE, esteemed
Chinese thinker and social philosopher, whose teachings and philosophy have
deeply influenced Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese thought and life."
Otherwise known as Confucius. So now all I need to know is who is Miss Sang.
