Hundreds of them. Why so many? I asked this question of our guide Simon, but he
was distracted by noticing a currawong getting a banana out of somebody's backpack
on the ground behind us. He said (and we thought it was something to do with my
question) "Has somebody brought a banana?" Eyebrows were raised, the banana was
rescued, the currawong was shooed off, my question was unanswered. The mind boggles.
