It's called Forty Baskets Beach because in the very early days of white settlement, somebody reported
that forty baskets of fish had been caught here. Whether it was this particular beach is uncertain. And I'm
not sure that I took this picture at Forty Baskets Beach anyway; it was on the walk from Manly to Spit
Bridge, there are two or three harbour beaches on the walk and only one has a memorable name.
