This is the "inner harbour" formed by the breakwater which joins Mutton Bird Island to the mainland. The mutton
birds (shearwaters) nest in burrows on the island. There is a formed path across the island to a lookout, and signs
advising you not to stray from the path. This advice is reinforced by sad little bleating noises from the invisible birds.
