In 1993 I photographed the old wallpaper lining a derelict house. Now (2017), using trove.com to search
old newspapers, I find that it was from page 2 of the Launceston Daily Telegraph of Monday July 1884.

Note the odd use of the word "violence." Other newspapers at the time had "virulence."
