We had time for walking around at Kettering, arranging trips, drinking coffee, looking at
postcards,taking photographs like this, and just waiting, because, although there is a
published timetable for the vehicular ferry, it doesn't seem to follow any timetable; it goes
"on demand", as the lady selling us tickets put it, going backwards and forwards regardless.
