Walks in the Blue Mountains usually involve cliff tops, steep steps, and dark valleys.
So an almost flat patch like this needs explaining. An information board at the start
of the track says something about the valley being obstructed in the distant past and
being filled up with what was washed down into it. I am curious to to know more.
