Album 8: Hangzhou: Prosperity, tea, and a monastery

Another city I knew nothing about before the trip. We were probably getting used to China by the time we got
to Hangzhou, but the city seemed less foreign to us Australians. The extravagant new houses were unexpected.
(For Sydneysiders, "like Cherrybrook but taller"). The tour on the lake was crowded and rushed, pushing our
way across the island we had come to see, so as not to get left behind by the boat on the other side, but
elsewhere we had time to relax and look around at our own pace. Contrasts, contrasts, and worth a longer stay.
