Church Ruins

Constructed in 1743, burned in 1778, rebuilt , and burned again in 1865, the charred plaster is still visible. The ferns I believe are "resurrection ferns" , a variety that dries up when the rain is scare but comes back to life vibrantly just after a rain shower.

Interesting combination, the old walls partially covered in plaster and these ferns. "V"

Excellent composition and great texture. The ferns, which I’ve seen pictures of before, are a lovely addition to the wall as presented here. V.
