I remember when I was young listening to the sound of these grasses on a windy day.
I will catch up tomorrow as tonight I am exhausted & need to sleep. Thank you for commenting on my Challenge image too.

Beautiful light! Reminds me of high school...our house was surrounded by corn fields and we would sit on the porch and listen to the corn growing.

Looks like red brome grass, and yes it does have a characteristic rustling sound as it hays off.

This is funny I was thinking about whitch picture I will choise for the pad of today the grasses of the autumn leave. Tomorrow I will place the grasses. I love the light in your shot. And the light twinkels in the background. Very nice studie of grass.
