This is the oldest Banyan Tree growing in the state. It's roots shown here grow above the ground.

Interesting differences. Those in South Florida seem to droop under their own weight, yours seem more upright. Thanks for sharing

I like banyan trees...there was one behind my condo in Florida before hurricane Charley and it might have done better in the storm if the gardeners hadn't removed most of its prop branches...
