This was taken last week at the Englishman River Estuary before the snow . It was a thrill for me as this is the first Peregrine Falcon I have been close enough to photograph in the wild. The light was dismal and he was some distance away but after standing ankle deep in mud I finally got a few shots. We watched him pursue and chase birds and his amazing speed was breathtaking..
A highlight for my day.
Jess.
