Hiking, kayaking, and boating in the San Juan Islands in northwest Washington state. The shots of brown grasses are of Seiden Island (Safari Island). The original owner brought in wild game from Africa and let them run free. A beautiful vista from the water in the late afternoon sun.

What type of animals are seen on Safari Island? We passed by on the WSFerry the other day but could not identify the wildlife we saw.
