This is a photo of a printout of the transit finder web page. I must have looked at it 50 times in the half hour prior to the shoot, to be sure of the trigger time of 5:44 PM (17:44) and 12.05 seconds. Note the transit duration of 1.35 seconds, as the ISS is traveling at about 17,000 miles per hour. At 5:44:00, using the time.gov website, I couldn't wait any longer and started shooting in maximum burst mode.
You can see that the off-center transit line, in the illustration on the left, nicely predicted what my location would see in the previous photo.
