Blended image with all shots of the International Space Station (ISS) transiting across the sun. The ISS has the classic "Tie Fighter" appearance, with the solar panels in full view. The ISS is traveling at about 17,000 miles per hour, so the actual time transiting the sun was (supposedly) 1.35 seconds. The introduction to the gallery explains how I got this composite shot. Taken with a solar filter.

The blended image gives enough resolution so that you can see the granular surface detail on the sun.
