In 1985, I rented a Nikonos underwater camera and shot two rolls of slides while snorkeling at a coral reef in Cozumel, Mexico; they were some of my favorite shots ever. In preparation for a windsurfing and snorkeling trip to Bonaire with two friends, I bought an inexpensive FinePix XP130 camera. Fine pics, not so much; showing just a few b/w conversions here. So then I rented an Olympus TG-5 from Fish Eye Photo on Bonaire. The salespeople were very helpful and the camera was much better, enabling reasonable color shots, but still not as good as my slides with the Nikonos.
