The 184 mile C&O canal trail has little delis like this in towns where the trail passes through. These are most welcome stops for riders and hikers on the trail, where they can can tank up for the next section of the trail, and where every bit of sustenance that you receive is enjoyed and appreciated to its fullest extent.
