Lovely shot, but a bit sad. This seems to have happened in many places this year...we had a bit of snow in late March in SE England, then an over warm & dry April and now a rather cold, windy & damp May. What a weird Spring it has been and not good for the fruit blossoms.

Well seen and gives a great picture... (V)
In our reagion, we sprinkle water if there is cold coming.... it prevents freezen blossom....

A beautiful shot nonetheless.

somehow nature knows what's also good for the trees. we have plants now that were dead looking from the frost and many people started cutting them down, but those that left them now have the most amazing growth going on. and I heard something about the freeze killing many harmful insects too

The picture is beautiful although the outcome is quite sad!

Lovely shot Karen. Vote.
Today I noticed that the trees that were leafing out on a nearby mountain all look more like autumn than spring. The leaves are all yellow-brown. They're dead.

Wow... Weird spring. Very nice shot.

That gave at least this superb mix of colors. I like your optimistic take on the event.

Sad.

you have to be kidding, after all that sun and warm weather, mother nature dumps snow on you! Pretty photo though, hope the apples that make it are extra tasty!

The cold got a lot of our stuff in the central part of the state too, Karen. It is sad, and it is unpleasant to look at the browning blossoms that should be white.

It is so sad to see spring flowering end this abruptly. The picture is great.

Sad to hear about the consequences of this late Winter snowfall.
Beautiful capture, though.

And a summer without apples will make the doctor a very busy boy or girl !! A sad sight, Karen.
