we have a lady here at the beach that would be a nice counterpart . . .maybe we should play matchmakers . . she gave me pretty much the same look when I pointed my camera at her

not too stealth if they glare back :) I think he needs a new front left wheel there.. wonder what his story is, but with all those sticks and tools in the cart I wouldn't get too close!

Great candid for a "stealth photographer"! Very nice. -BJ

Fantastic candid. Love your caption. I'm not terribly good at stealth photography either. :) It'd be interesting to know his story; and there but for the grace of God go I...

A great study. Good caption, too. I am worse at stealth photography.

Great shot.

Excellent commentary and capture, Karen. Looks lke he might use the sticks to support a tent of some kind.

We have some of those guys here in Charleston, including one known as "Aqualung." He's certainly got himself some treasures there.

Very nice candid shot.

If the content never changes, that's strange. Maybe it is the male equivalent to to the women purse though ;-)
Barb02-Apr-2007 02:16
Bet he does have lots of story to tell. Neat shot.

Hi Karen,
What a terrific shot of an entertaining character. Our buggy man died and I really miss him. Thanks for sharing yours. \/

Life takes some strange turns for some...to coin a phrase " there are a million stories in the naked city...and this has been one of them"
I'm hopeless at candids too :>)
Herb 01-Apr-2007 17:29
Nice shot
Gayle P. Clement01-Apr-2007 17:21
Very nice capture. I'm not a good stealth photographer either.

We have a lot of "buggy people", too. I wonder if the sticks are used as support for a tarp or if that is to be firewood.
Sheila01-Apr-2007 14:24
I wonder if this is just the start of a huge collection (of stuff) for him.
Bet he has a story to tell.
Gary Blanchette01-Apr-2007 12:40
Wow! I don't think I have heard them called buggies since I was in Illinois in "75". Great shot!
