കുണ്ടറ വിളംബരം-പുനര്‍വായന വേണം "ദേശസ്നേഹത്തിന്റെ വിളംബരത്തിന്‌ 200" എന്ന പേരില്‍ കുണ്ടറ വിളംബരത്തിന്റെ ഇരുനൂറാം വാര്‍ഷികദിനമായ 2008 ജനുവരി 14 ന്‌ മനൊരമ "കാഴ്ഹപ്പാടു" പേജില്‍ ഡോ. ശശിഭൂഷണന്റെതായി ഒരു ലേഖനം വന്നു. 50 കൊല്ലം മുന്‍പു വായിച്ചതിലും കേട്ടതിലും കൂടുതലായി അതിലൊന്നുമില്ല. എന്നാല്‍ ത്രിമൂര്‍ത്തികളായ ജോസഫുമാര്‍ (മുണ്ടശ്ശേരി,നെടുംകുന്നം,ചാഴിക്കാടന്‍) എന്നിവരും പുത്തേഴന്‍, പിന്നീടു "ദലിത്ബന്ധു" എന്‍.കെ ജോസ്‌, പ്രൊഫ.ടി.ബി .വിജയകുമാര്‍ എന്നിവരും എഴുതിയതൊന്നും, ആരോപിച്ചതൊന്നും, ഗവേഷകന്‍ കൂടിയായ ശശിഭൂഷണ്‍ കാണാതെ പോയതായി സംശയിക്കണം. നായര്‍ പട്ടാളത്തില്‍ നിന്നും സ്വയം രക്ഷ പെടാനാണ്‌ തമ്പി ബ്രിട്ടീഷ്‌ പട്ടാളത്തെ വിളിച്ചതെന്നും രണ്ടു തവണയായി നായര്‍ പട്ടാളത്തെ മുഴുവന്‍ കൊന്നൊടുക്കിയതിനാലാണ്‌ തിരുവിതാംകൂറില്‍ നായര്‍ ജനസംഖ്യ കുറഞ്ഞതെന്നും "രാജാ" കേസവദാസനും വേലുത്തമ്പിയും രാജ-രാജ്യ ദ്രോഹികളായിരുന്നുവെന്നും അവര്‍ പാദസേവ നടത്തി പാവാടയും വാളും 'രാജാ" തുടങ്ങിയ സ്ഥാനമാനങ്ങളും നേടിയെന്നും അവരാണ്‌ രാജ്യത്തെ വിടേശികള്‍ക്ക്‌ അടിയറവ്‌ വച്ചതെന്നും മറ്റും മറ്റും മറ്റും ഉള്ള മേല്‍പ്പറഞ്ഞ എഴുത്തുകാരുടെ ആരോപണങ്ങള്‍ക്കും ശശിഭൂഷണെപ്പോലുള്ള ഗവേഷകര്‍ മറുപടി എഴുതേണ്ടതല്ലേ?
