From Tsumago, you can either hike or take a bus to its twin town of Magome (7 km). Magome is from the same Edo period, is slightly bigger and we find it more commercialized. If one hike from one town to the other, a certificate is presented on completion of the hike. We wanted to but at freezing temperature.....
