This is a stack of about 15 images. The room was lit overall with a single 2400J strobe bounced into a corner, and then I handheld a 200J monobloc strobe (heavy!) with snoot and grid (to get nice, small, controlled patch of light) and pointed it, one exposure at a time, at various elements in the shot. I got myself in the mirror several times, but that was ok, as I stacked all the resulting images in photoshop and, using layer masks, only kept the bits I wanted. It's resulted in an impossible image (it would've probably taken up to 15 lights to do this in one shot, and reflections in the mirror still would've been a problem).
Too bad I took this a day before the challenge began, otherwise I could've put it in the Competition gallery (not that it's a patch on some of the shots there and in this gallery, but it's one of the only "stacked" images I've taken recently :-)
