:: Resurrection :: by Tim Ashley

Amberley Churchyard, Sussex, England

I liked the resonance of Calvary in this scene, and the long, visually metaphorical shadow of the cross.

Not insulted at all but grateful you've taken the time to let the possibilities of the shot play on your mind! Tim

From my heritage - it is like foreshadowing that we get to put our cross amidst the three on Calvary. hmmmmm. I have heard it is said that God is eternally experiencing all time at once - it helps create an even stronger resonance for me. (I hope I do not insult you by reading my beliefs into your picture - it is what I come with :-) brent

Hi Tim - great shot - I like the dark shadow on the left edge as well as the shadow of the cross and the gravestone in the foreground. - MHG
