Adrian, I don't know how you always manage to get such a sense of immediacy from such a long telephoto range.
Usually tele shots have a kind of detachment about them, but yours are fully involved and often dramatic.
Robins look cute but they are horribly vicious and territorial I believe.
This one certainly looks very alert and confrontational.

Heh, but seriously, this is one of the loveliest bird shots I've seen for a long while. We have had a resident Robin in our garden for years, and this is so like him/her.
Technically speaking, I would love to know if you had to deal with any moiree issues there? Those feathers are so 'clean'! :-)

What a really neat shot. How far away were you and what percentage crop was this? Whenever I try shots like this they're either noisy or blurred so am full of admiration - and teh colours are just E-1 lovely! Tim
