"A Bauble for Jono" by Warren Sarle

Quite mundane compared to Shelby's remarkable decorations,

i think Tim nailed it here ;-)

I'm kinda sorry you didn't give us a worms eye pic with KMart in the background. That said, very evocative, and well and truelly saturated. Cheers, adrian

This is either just great fun, or a serious deconstruction of the throwaway nature of a commercialised Christmas and therefore by extension the disposable nature of all spirituality in a free marker economy etc etc. I'll shut up now. Tim

Hi Warren, I can't compete with the pavement. If I tossed mine on the pavement, I might not get back in the house. Shelby

It was found, complete with rain drops, in a K-Mart parking lot. - Warren

Oooh! Pavement!
I like this one Warren - was it 'found' or did you take it with you?

I think these two are great. i like this one best because the present decoration look hyper-real. Look like quartz or granite chippings in that road surface.
Flick.
