Wonderful shot, the floor comes through just enough to give great support.

The colors and shadows really make this a great shot thanks Jono, Rancher

That's either a very wide lens, a very small jug, or a VERY large lilly. And it's gorgeously composed, lit and exposed. I want a D2X right now. And Jono's eyes.... Tim

Hi Quentin....yes, poor Jono was much overdue for the upgrade. It entailed only minor surgery, and fortunately a full recovery is expected. -- DF

Jono's had a firmware upgrade??? tell us more! Nice shot, as always. You handle the available light thing so well - Quentin

Wow! Mouthwatering. Everything works for me: the lushness of the flowers set against the rough, unevenness of the quarries; the colours; the perspective; the rich darkness behind.
Move over and give the rest of us a chance :-)
Flick.

Thanks David. It really has made a HUGE difference to me - it's almost like a different camera (focusing is much more convincing too). Jono

Wonderful. Terrific, pleasing composition with the shadows. And you've definitely got the greens now after the firmware upgrade. -- DF
