Homeless by Flick Merauld

Oxford UK

Part of a project on the homeless I did while at college.
She is sitting in her "living room", the outside entrance to a city centre office.
Her dog was her main emotional support.
It was later taken from her because it was suffering from neglect.
The arm around her belongs to a homeless companion (a former social worker)
whose drinking problem has since killed him.
Homelessness is a problem of our culture and the responsibility of us all.
Photo used with permission of the subject.

As a soon to be social worker, I found this photo a sober reminder that life's problems is best resolved with true emotion of the heart...the greatest of which is love.

Thanks jono :-)
I don't think I've posted this one before, but "she" can be seen on any city street.

HI Flick
I think I might have seen this before
It really is wonderful, the hand on the shoulder, and her expression - excellent - jono
