Great shot Paul and I agree with Flick, it's a hell of a start. I love the perspective over the fence and the receeding clouds. Cheers, Marc.

Wasn't sure if this would be acceptable as a portrait! The grain was achieved by using a 320 ISO. The conversion was via blending with a desaturation layer over the top of a colour mix, then I applied the image from one of the channels. I then used the history brush to bring back some of the shadows I wanted to unblock. The main purpose for the multiply layer was to get some depth into the sky. All in all I ended up with the image I had been hoping to achieve.
Regards

Paul

Wow Paul, what a great start! This has the quality of a fine grained b&w film print. What conversion did you use?
Perfect thirds as well.
Flick.
