Queen of Cups by Flick Merauld

Do I need to explain my feelings for my daughter? Here she is as a stroppy teenager, grudgingly modeling for a tarot card seven or eight years ago, when i was first learning to use Photoshop.
This image probably won't stay, but it's good to get something in the galleries and to show those who are stumped for ideas which subjects can be used.

Thank you! I would be happy to help you (seriously and truly) except I think you're in the US aren't you? I'm in England. But, you know, you can learn PS from books: that's what i did. i was at college at the time, PS 5 had just come in, and the tutors had no idea how to teach it because it was so different to previous versions (for example it now had history states), plus we had 16 students to one computer. so I bought a book and a copy of the software and struggled with my computer with a 1.5GB HD and 16MB RAM, which i then expanded to 64MB. I used to literally go and make a cup of tea while it was saving - lost work countless times from not saving and the machine crashing. but i got there. PS is as different as the people using it, and everyone has their own way. Anyway, i never write down what i do, it's different each time.

Hi Paul, yes a cup (or rather a blue glass)...she is, after all, the Queen of Cups, a card associated with love and emotion (in keeping with the challenge theme). and thanks :-)

I like how you've placed all the elements surrounding your daughter. They really help keep my eyes focused on her and not wandering out of the picture. Nice composition and beautiful daughter.
