Hi Chaps . . . . . that 'duck' looks more like a moorhen or a coot to me . . .
It's a lovely shot though Albert.
I would also like to state that my 'So Low' shot was posted before I read these comments!

Thanks guys! Kim, the only "So Low" play on words I've come up with are maybe a hawk swooping down to catch prey or a crop duster in action. This really qualifies as the water being "So High". He was looking right at me Paul asking me to take him away from his desolate god-forsaken surroundings:) He left shortly after the shot Flick:) - Albert

hope that duck isn't frozen in. this works so beautifully in B&W.

It's a beautiful shot Albert, I just love your scenery. I have to admit the duck escaped me. In fact, is he looking directly at you when taking this shot? - Regards Paul

Oh -- I think I understand this shot now...! Is that a solitary duck swimming at the top? He is the one being "fenced in". I didn't understand how this related to the theme, until I noticed the duck. My first impression was that the focus was on the fence, and a play on words, that it had sunk "so low". Oops! Beautiful monochrome definitely conveys "aloneness". :-) -- Kim
