I really like it, and probably they put the balcony there to hold up the larger window :)

No no no, fine art photography is supposed to be about struggle, hardship and agonised soul searching! Not sitting in a cafe, wine in hand, casually spotting and taking striking photos! Charles

Thanks for the comments everyone. Several have mentioned it's lack of 'squareness'. It was actually shot straight on, but from slightly below - I've corrected for this, but what makes it seem odd is that the right hand window is actually larger than the other two.
kind regards jono

Love the colors and composition, and especially the dynamic warped brilliance of the gold reflections in the windows which provide animation. --Kim

Lovely shot Jono. My guess is this shot was not done square on? Shot slightly to the left of square? If you try to correct any further you start to loose the window sill. Or is it just these old eyes playing tricks? - Paul

Well, I'd ignore you too if you shouted at me...Beautiful image though, but I like this and the first one better.

Well - I shouted at the guy in the boat to get him to drive parallel to the horizon - but he just ignored me! Florence is wonderful - I've got loads of reflection shots from there - my favorite has already been posted in another competition though :-( kind regards jono

Jono, another great shot (as are the other two). I dunno, I pleaded with Flick to ban you from all competitions for ever - now look what she's done :-) - Quentin

HI Flick
You're right about my verticals . . . . I'll deal with it (thank you). The horizon on the other shot isn't slanting though . . . it isn't a horizon, it's a receding coastline - always difficult to know what to do with these - if I make it straight . . . . . then it'll be wrong! kind regards jono

this is fabulous, but your verticals aren't quite, and the one before has a slanting horizon. Just a tad.
But this is an excellent interpretation of the theme as well as being a beautiful image.
