GuitarMan by Michael Stubblefield

Pic I snapped of this guy playing on the streets of Seattle. I set the focus point on his box instead of him-to offset the expected. Anyway, looking at it at home, I decided to use imaging factory's b&w conversion and adjusted curves for boosted contrast to just blow out some highlight info, like he was on a stage and the stage lights were hitting him (I tried for this effect anyway). I may have oversharpened when I sized for the web.

Nice gritty, immediate type of image, reminiscent of journalistic shots done with Tri-X.
Flick.
