I donīt give a sh!t by Pepe Abascal

No me corto means something like I act without shame. This shot is part of a fashion job for a gay magazine, they never let me use girls (because they donīt have dikcs), so I found a way to photograph a nice girl in two pages. The dikc is mine by the way but as I have used Photoshop size remains a secret. I blured that part so nobody gets offended. The art director accepted I won and laughed at my devious manners. It will be published in April. All nine images in this serie play with the word corto/a wich means short (as summer is approaching).

I wanted to create a model who represented the goal of a transexual. Transexuals can be beautiful but often too wide, and I wanted contrast! between male and female.

Hmm, somehow I don't see you "obeying the stylist" or ever "just doing as youre told"! I noticed that the ceiling angles up over the mirror, so that's why I wondered if it was a specially designed set. I still wonder why this would not have worked as well if you had actually used a male model...(one piece). It's still a question of power; she is still feminine; and the p*art was "loaned" to her...! --Kim

It is a real room, it is the rest room of the studio I used for this job, the perspective is the result of a 20 and me on the floor. There was a girl in charge of the clothes and a make up and hair pro as well. My assistant was on vacation so I did everything on my own. But it is me who tells the stylist what clothes I want. In another words the image is mine from conception to publishing, I even drew it before anything. I asked the hair pro to bring a wig and so on. In this case everything you see was in my mind and in my drawing. Sometimes the creation is a result of team work and other times I obey what the stylist has in mind. But only ONE can rule in a certain moment (whoever had the idea).

Hi Pepe, I'm dying to ask if this is an authentic room, or a specially designed set, because of the strong perspective. And do you use a creative team--hair, makeup, clothing, design--or is it all your own creation from concept to print? How many people might be involved in a shoot like this? It isn't really just you, is it??? :-) --Kim

Flick I know it would be enough, and more subtle, with just the urine but I like a little bit of bad taste. In this magazine willies are not allowed so I also like to push the limits. I am very childish. I agree it looks like a pink sausage, the lack of detail makes it dull and boring (I answer everything).

I don't think the willy is necessary for the challenge (though it would definitely be demanded for a gay mag), just the stream of urine would have been funnier because more subtle. Besides which (and remember, i didn't see the original) blurring it has made it look like a bland pink sausage (was it really that colour originally Pepe...no don't answer that).
Flick.

LOL - splendid Pepe - not sure that the blur is exactly necessary, but Quentin knows what's what!
Kind Regards jono

Wow! She sure is tall!!! For me much is accomplished by her pose and attitude, and not necessarily the body part exposed, and the contrast is in the colors of her hair and shoes. Very dramatic and creative. Bravo! Puissant! --Kim
