"Blue Monolith" by Albert Yanowich Jr.

Colorado USA

This was a great weather morning for this shot. I felt it had a lot of depth. after converting to B&W I added a touch of blue.

Wow Albert - you do live in a spectacular place - this really gives you an idea of how impressive it is.

Thank you Kim:) I added the blue to bring out the definition of the distant rocks and add a bit more "BG light" around the top of the monolith. - Albert

This is really striking, Albert! I like the hazier background and the central focus on the one monolith. The flow of the rock from left to right is intriguing. And the purposeful touch of blue adds a sense of mystery. Best of the series, imho! --Kim
