The statue's simplicity contrasts with the rich gold column on the right, and the delicate violet hues in the elaborate stonework behind her. Amazing color capture!

Thanks, Flick. I fancy the 12-24 Sigma. You can never be tooo wide. But the Nikkor is a class act - Quentin

These are lovely, Quentin. I was torn between the Nikkor and the Sigma when i got my wide-angle zoom. Eventually chose the sigma, but seeing these I wonder if I chose the right one! I was using the S2 at the time, which made my 24mm lens redundant.
