Thanks, Flick. The bubbles are in a thin sheet cut with a razor blade from flexible polystyrene plastic. Light is from below, and the colors result from crossed polarizers - a polarizer is beneath the plastic sheet and one is above the sheet and mounted on the lens. A series of different colors move across the image when the lens polarizer is rotated. Bob
