This non-aspherical lens is best known for its rendering of bokeh (out-of-focus areas) when used at large and moderate apertures. I find it to be a superb lens between f/4 and f/8 on the Leica M8. Other than night shots, the majority of the images in this gallery used a Leica UV/IR cut filter with the M8 and lens detection set to "On + UV/IR".
