The Tamron SP 180mm F/2.5 accepts the SP 2x 01F and the SP 1.4x 140F tele-converters. It will not accept the SP 2x 200F converter.

There is some confusion here. The Tamron 140F gives a x 1.4 magnification, not x 2. That requires the 200F.

What I was looking for was whether the Tamron 180 2.5 accepted those two coverters. It would be madness if it did not, as it has a standard of performance in a class of its own
