The Olympus should be fine. A Digital SLR might be a bit much during the whole "process". Might be good when the child is a bit older and you have
more time and space.

I have a olympus c765 too and my son will be born very soon. Do you think this is a good camera to take baby photo? or I should get a DSLR instead? Thanks

I just spent a week with Will, Kelly & Kurt and all are doing well, and even getting some sleep. Will is the most beautiful, sweet baby. Never fusses unless he's hungry or getting his diaper changed---doesn't like to have his clothes off. Leaving him to come home was hard to do. Great Baby! Great parents!
