SHELTON, CT - At approximately 3:25p.m. on March 26, Shelton Fire Companies 1 and 3 were dispatched to a vehicle fire in the northbound lane of Route 8 between exits 11 and 12. The vehicle was a Honda Civic that had just had engine work done on it. Route 8 northbound was temporarily closed during firefighting operations.
