ANSONIA, CT - The Ansonia Fire Department was dispatched at approximately 10:19pm on July 3rd for a fire in a private dwelling. First in companies found heavy fire conditions as well as explosions from inside the house. It did not take long for command to call for a 2nd alarm on the raised ranch at 1 Pin Oak Lane. This was the scene of a previous fire approximately one month before. Nobody was home at the time of the blaze, and the fire is still under investigation.
