STRATFORD, CT – On December 15 at approximately 11:00pm the Stratford Fire Department was dispatched to 17 Meadowview Avenue for a house fire. While en route to the fire, responding companies were alerted to a possible victim on the first floor. On arrival, companies made an aggressive interior attack into the 1 ½ story wood frame and pulled a male victim from the first floor in cardiac arrest. The victim was resuscitated by members of Stratford Engine 5 and transported to Bridgeport Hospital in critical condition.
