SHELTON, CT – On the morning of October 26, members of the Shelton Fire Department were dispatched along with police and EMS for a motor vehicle accident on Bridgeport Avenue. First units on scene found a 1995 Pontiac Grand Am off the road into a tree with a female patient pinned and a small fire under the vehicle. The fire was quickly extinguished and extrication operations began. Shortly after the patient was removed and transported to the hospital.
