38th St. 2nd Alarm Fire (Queens, NY) 10/19/05

QUEENS, NY - At approximately 10:00am on October 19, units from Queens were operating at a 1075 that shortly went to a second alarm. The fire was in a 40 x100 4-story brick occupied multiple dwelling located at 38th Street and Broadway. Members had a heavy fire condition in the basement that quickly extended up the shaft and out the bulkhead door.
