蠟菊原產於澳洲,因其花色彩美麗光亮,乾燥後花型和花色經久也不變不褪,有如蠟製成般,故名"蠟菊".
花期由夏初至秋末,花色有紅,黃,橙,白和紫色等,這種菊花非常適合於園藝種植,也是優質的花壇,插花,乾花的原材料.
