Glenn Falls is located just outside Highlands, NC about 3 miles on US Hwy 64W. You there is a stone/dirt road that leads about .5 miles to the parking area. There are 2 trails, one is 1.6 miles and leads back out to Hwy 106, the other trail about a mile(to the left, trust me!) and is steep at points. The trail is narrow, and not easy or for the faint of heart. Everything says there are 3 approximate 60 foot falls, and maybe I gave up too soon, but I only passed 2 and a smaller one. Expect the round trip to take a couple of hours if you plan on spending any time at each falls.
These shots were all taken with a Canon 20D and 24-70L Lens using a B+W ND103 and B+W CP mounted on a Bogen 3021Pro tripod and using a Bogen 322RC2 Ball/Grip head.
I rate these falls at 8 and access difficulty at 8-9.
Somewhere in there between the big falls is an amazing butt slide. A bunch of us from Clemson used to go up there in the mid 70's. You might not consider it just at a glance, but it was a blast. Maybe erosion has changed it over time. After a few hours at the slide, we'd load up and head down to the Dillard House for dinner. The hike back up to the parking area was difficult. Back in the day.....

Your pictures are great of the waterfalls. I was wondering if you sell any of these pictures?
