The 2005 Canadian International Airshow was blessed with perfect weather this year, clear skies, pleasant temperatures, and no haze at all which is unusual for this time of the year.
While the lighting condition is not ideal, the lack of haze allowed for some reasonable images from the performing aircraft.
Highlight of the show were the 625 knots high-speed pass by the F-104 Starfighter at the Pearson airport, and the visiable transonic shock wave vapor on the CF-18 high-speed pass by Buca, and the vortices generated by the USAF F-16 Viper East demo team.
